Hi there,
Introducing myself as a photographer is quite easy.
My passion for photography started with my "artistic" background.
I attended art school for 8 years in the past. In which I drew models, in charcoal. My passion itself goes to everything that is beautiful. Through the art teacher who kept saying "How can you best bring people to life in a drawing"?
Make sure the model tells a story! She can only do that with facial expressions, body postures, and hands that can tell a lot. But above all, the natural light and shadow can tell your story best. Words I have never forgotten.
As a photographer, it started about 20 years ago.
I have attended various national and international courses and events, and worked with many domestic and foreign models.
One of these courses was with a Dutch photographer who kept harping on shadow play. You don't need 3 to 4 lamps in a studio, 1 simple light source is more than sufficient.
But babies and small children are also my thing. What I look for in models is quite simple. Being able to tell a story is especially important.
Anyone who feels called is welcome.
I hope to see one of you soon in the studio or outside.
